Description
Dear Wine Lovers!
LAZARE wine has no analogues in the world!
This unique wine embodies the history of wine making in Georgia, which, as the birthplace of wine, is more than 8,000 years old.
The wine is made from more than 450 indigenous grape varieties grown in the Shumi company‘s vineyard collection, which is the largest private ampelographic collection in the world!
To produce LAZARE wine, our winemakers used the traditional Georgian method, fermenting the grapes in a Qvevri – an earthenware vessel buried in the ground. Then the wine was aged in barrels of 250-year-old oak, made by the famous French company “Tonnelleries Vicard”.
LAZARE wine of the 2017 harvest was produced in limited quantities – only 516 bottles.
LAZARE wine has a ruby color, aromas of strawberry, raspberry, vanilla and almond.
The wine is soft and velvety, with a long finish.
Each bottle of LAZARE wine is decorated with a unique drawing of the vineyard collection, hand-painted by a professional artist.
Alcohol content – 14.0%
Volume – 0.75 l
